The Waterfall

I have always loved waterfalls, and I always find that they have a wonderful mystique to them.

I wanted to create a really mythical, yet almost abstract waterfall in a fictional location, in order to create a deep meditation painting. A zen environment of awakening, somewhere that you can just sit and observe the waters fall over the waterfall and contemplate the beauty of life.

Somewhere one can go just to relax and be inspired by nature's beauty, feeling simultaneously both motion and mystery. I found the recollection image of a waterfall to be an almost perfect motif to use to be able to create a meditational artwork.

I've seen a lot of waterfalls throughout my life, and this was a lovely painting for me to create.

This is an acrylic painting on canvas supplied with fitted hanging gear and it will be packaged in a crate for transportation.
